WHERE ARE YOU FROM?
I’m proudly a Bull City Queen ( like you know where that is anyway), born in Durham, NC !! I graduated from Southern Durham High School and attended undergrad at Clemson University.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN SINGING AND HOW CAN WE HEAR YOUR VOICE?
I’ve been singing since I was maybe like 9 years old. I was pretty shy early on in my childhood, I’ll be sharing more funny stories about that on the blog. It wouldn’t be until college that I sort of began to take singing a bit more serious. I released a single in 2017, Pulse, but I’m still discovering who I am as an artist. More music is coming for sure! However, I frequently perform at weddings and private events, and open mics as well. Subscribe to my youtube channel and follow me on IG for the voice!

WHAT ARE YOU GETTING YOUR MASTERS IN?
I am getting a Masters of Public Health with a focus on Global Health at Emory University. My interests lie in improving black women and girls sexual reproductive health globally as it pertains to menstrual health and hygiene, but I’m just beginning my journey and it’s an area with a broad range of focuses so it could change. I spent some time in Zimbabwe which really confirmed a lot for me in terms of how the issues related to women’s reproductive health is GLOBAL.
HOW DO I GET INTO A MASTERS PROGRAM?
I had a lot of guidance on how to approach my graduate school journey through other students, faculty, and being apart of Gates Millennium Scholars program. I think the best way to find out how to get into your program of choice is to talk to students, faculty, and administrative staff in that program. I do have tips on how to apply to Grad programs which I will be sharing on the blog. I have no experience with applying to schools from outside of America, sorry!
HOW DO YOU BALANCE GRADUATE SCHOOL AND THE REST OF YOUR LIFE?
I fully believe in living a full well rounded life, so I make time for the things I care about. I’ll be sharing more on how I find balance on the blog because it isn’t always easy for some who likes to get there hands into a lot of different things.
How are you able to travel so much? what has been one of your favorite destinations?
I’ve always dreamed since I was a little girl about traveling the world. I have manifested the opportunities for me to travel and see the world through writing and speaking affirmations aloud, hustling and saving is the other half of it. I value being able to travel because my world and what I can do becomes expansive. I had the opportunity to visit/live long term in Zimbabwe and to say that it changed my life is an understatement. I’m very grateful to have made my first successful journey to the motherland. I’ll share more about my travels on the blog as well! I have a lot of tips on travel to share with you.
HOW DID YOU GET INTO PHOTOGRAPHY? HOw Can I book With you?
I started my photography business while in undergrad at Clemson. I first started out just practicing with friends. I literally spent about 4 months just strictly watching youtube learning every technical and creative thing I could know about photography( Lightroom, Photoshop, posing, etc.) It grew and I started actually getting clients on campus and that’s how it began.
